Mrs. Tonya Devore, Assistant Principal

Devore Tonya

Mrs. Devore has been happily married to her husband, Greg, for 14 years and is blessed to have the opportunity to raise a blended family of five children.  They have four children that have graduated college, one that is completing her OT doctorate program and a son at that just graduated Gallatin High School.  They enjoy spending time on the Tennessee River boating, riding their motorcycle and following their University of Tennessee Volunteer sports teams!

Mrs. Devore began her teaching career at Howard Elementary, where she was a second grade teacher.  She went to graduate school during that time and received a Masters in administration.  She began her administration career at Gallatin High School as an assistant principal and has had the privilege of being at all grade levels.

When she came to SCE, Mrs. Devore was overwhelmed with the love and compassion for children that she found from every single person in the building.  The parents at SCE are always willing to help and make our school a great learning environment.  She is honored and blessed to come to work everyday at SCE and is extremely excited about the upcoming year to see what it holds for all of us.
