Mrs. Tonya Devore's Bio:
I have been happily married to my husband, Greg, for 12 year and blessed to have the opportunity to raise a blended family of five children. We have two children that have graduated college, one that started her OT doctorate program, one in college seeking her detree in Early Childhood Special Education and a son at Gallatin High School that is a proud Green Wave football player. We enjoy spending time on the water and boating, riding our motorcycle and following our University of Tennesse Volunteer sports teams!
I began my teaching career at Howard Elementary, where I was a second grade teacher. I went to graduate school during that time and received a Masters in administration. I began my administration career at Gallatin High School as an assistant principal. I have had the privilege of being at all grade levels as an assistant principal.
When I came to SCE last year, I was overwhelmed with the love and compassion for children that I found from every single person in this building. I feel the parents at SCE are absolutely incredible. They will do anything, not only for their own child, but also for the entire school to help support the improvement of education. I am honored and blessed to come to work daily at SCE and I am extremely excited about the upcoming year to see what it holds for all of us.
